Project Description

Client: Iridium, a Motorola start-up

Iridium was an ambitious low-earth based satellite network that would enable a new type of global communications. I was responsible for start-up business operations at three partner sites – in Thailand, China and Taiwan. These sites were partners, but not subsidiaries, so my work required thoughtful empathy and cross-cultural communication.

Working across sites, I saw that these international service providers lacked a way to share learnings and solutions in the lead up to commercial activation. I took the initiative to develop a technology solution that immediately enabled the offices to coordinate more effectively. Teams were then sent to all global sites to deploy and train on this solution.

“The database that you built, with virtually no user requirements, was a phenomenal accomplishment for which the entire team benefited. My understanding is that this is typical of all the work you have done for us to date.

Thank you for your willingness to go the extra mile…Your enthusiasm and strong work ethic serves as an example to the rest of the team.”
